Old Buda Townhall This house was built between 1688 and 1771 by architects Venerio Ceserola, Johann Hölbling, Mathias Kayr and Matthäus Neupauer. It was constructed to be the City Hall of Buda, it served as a city hall until 1873, when Buda and Pest were united. Now it is the center of Collegium Budapest, an Institute for Advanced Study and a Centre of Excellence. The historical rooms serve as conference halls, seminar rooms and a library.
