Labyrinth of Buda b>Labyrinth of Buda Castle is a calcereous tuff cave system created by hot water sprigs. These caves were connected into a defence system during the bloody history Buda castle. The cave system was transformed into a bomb shelter enough for 10.000 people around 1930. It was opened to the public in the 1980s as a wax figure museum. Extensive restoration of the caves was started in 1996, reinforced concrete additions of WWII were removed. Now you can see copies of prehistory paintings and famous moments of Hungarian history inside.
