Döbrentei square is now an owercowded junction, thousands of cars crossing Elisabeth bridge pass here every day. The square is in fact a rather small area with a few trees and the statue of Queen Elisabeth (Sisi). The whole area used to look like totally differenrt 100 years ago, at that time small alleys and simple houses of Tabán district were to be found here.
