Batthyany square is the centre of Viziváros district, an important traffic junction, end-station of several buses and it also has an underground (metro) station. The square is surrounded by old buildings, it is recommended to have a look at the two 18th century houses remaining and to visit nearby St. Ann and St Francis churches, both of them have a rich interior
